How to raise a copyright concern and what happens once you do.

Last updated 3 September 2026

Our position

Apollo Group TV resells access to streams run by other operators. Apollo stores, records and broadcasts nothing; what those operators send is their call, not ours.

Rights holders, or agents acting for them, can send a notice about material reachable through the service and will get a reply.

What a valid notice needs

A notice can only be acted on when every one of these is in it:

  • Your name, a mailing address, and an email address or phone number.
  • The work you believe is infringed.
  • The material in question, described precisely enough to be located.
  • A good-faith statement that the use is not permitted by the rights holder, their agent, or the law.
  • A statement that the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
  • A signature, physical or electronic.

Where to send it

Mail it to Apollo Group TV, 517 Lake Ave, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071, USA, or send it through the contact page. If any item is missing, the notice comes back to you to be completed first.

What happens next

A complete notice is forwarded to the operator running the stream, and Apollo blocks access on its side where it can. The material is not on our servers, so the operator does the removing.

Counter-notice

If a removal was a mistake, send a counter-notice: your contact details, what the material was, and a statement under penalty of perjury that it should not have come down.

Repeat complaints

Repeated valid complaints against the same account close it.
